Sometimes no matter how much you try to keep your vehicle out of harm's way, your windshield may become damaged by a small crack or a chip. If the damaged area in your windshield can be repaired, it can be injected with a liquid to make the area stronger. The resin bonds to the glass and while it doesn't completely repair the chip or small crack, the area will be more stable.
Depending on the deepness, size and severity of the repaired area, the flaw may almost completely disappear. For biggers, cracks, however, the repair will leave what could be called a scar in the damaged area, even though it will look better than it did before the work.
